Why is Mahjong Ways 2 so popular on Taka247?
Mahjong is a centuries-old Chinese game, but PG Soft has reimagined this tradition as a modern slot that has struck a real chord with players in Bangladesh. Taka247has been one of the most-played games every week since Mahjong Ways 2 launched.
When fans of the original sit down with Mahjong Ways 2, the first thing they notice is the grid size. Going from 5×4 to 5×5 isn't just an extra row — the number of Ways jumps from 1,024 all the way to 3,125. That means nearly three times more ways to win on every spin.
The biggest change, however, is the Temple bonus feature — something that wasn't in Mahjong Ways 1. Land 3 or more Temple Scatters on the grid to trigger a special bonus round where the multiplier never resets; it keeps growing permanently with every Tumble.
Temple Bonus Strategy
In the Temple bonus round, the multiplier locks in with every Tumble — so the longer your chain, the bigger it grows. Seasoned players at Taka247 advise never speeding up auto-play during the Temple round; watch every tile closely.
A regular Taka247 member from Sylhet once shared: "I spent a lot of time on Mahjong Ways 1, but switching to 2 felt like something completely new. I hit a ×670 multiplier in the Temple round once — it was almost hard to believe." Experiences like this are exactly what keep demand for this game so high at Taka247.
How to Win More at Mahjong Ways 2?
This is a high-volatility game, so patience matters just as much as strategy. Here are a few tips gathered from experienced Taka247 players.
First, plan your budget. Big wins in Mahjong Ways 2 come from the Temple bonus or long Tumble chains — neither happens on every spin. Aim to have enough for at least 80–100 spins. Taka247's reload offers make it easy to build that bankroll with a bonus.
Second, keep an eye on your Tumble chains. Once a chain gets going, watch the multiplier meter closely. After 3–4 Tumbles, the multiplier typically climbs past ×5, and any win that follows can suddenly be much bigger than expected.
Third, play Mahjong Ways 2 using your Taka247 bonus balance — this gives you a shot at the Temple bonus without spending as much from your own pocket. When the Mega Wild reel lands, that spin is especially valuable since an entire column turns Wild, making it possible to form multiple large clusters in a single spin.
